S.O.S. Days provide an exciting alternative during a school holiday or teacher workday. Filled with games, field trips, swimming and friendly sports, these full-day programs will provide fun-filled experiences your kids are sure to enjoy.

Registration: Register at Welcome Center. Must register a minimum of 2 business days before the program begins.

Students in grades 6-8
Serves: Carnage, Centennial*, Daniels, Exploris, Ligon, Martin and Moore Square*
*Transportation provided by WCPSS from Centennial and Moore Square. There must be a minimum of seven students enrolled from the school for the Y to offer transportation from that site.

Our middle school program is all about choices! We will offer a variety of activities to choose from including specialty clinics, sports, swimming, crafts and much more. We have designed this program specifically for teens to gow in spirit, mind and body.

2012-2013 School's Out Special (S.O.S.) Days
Grades K-8
Alexander Family YMCA

S.O.S. Days are a fun alternative for school holidays and vacation days. Activities may include field trips, devotions, special guests, gym and field games, songs, arts and crafts, swimming and more.

S.O.S Days are open to all children regardless of the school they attend, and they do not have to be enrolled in other Y programs in order to participate. All pick up and drop off is at the Alexander Y regardless of your child's school.

When: 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Fees: Per day option
(M) $42/day (PP) $51/day
Register for these days beginning July 16, 2012. Payment in full is due at time of registration. There will be no refunds due to inclement weather, vacation and/or illness.

S.O.S. Package Option
(M) $558/year (PP) $678/year
Full-package price includes all S.O.S. days, a 5% discount and can be bank drafted. If choosing the package option, you must register before Nov. 1, 2012.

Aspire at Tracking Out (New for 2012!)
Ages 5-14 (We can interview children outside this age range.)
Alexander Family YMCA

Aspire at Tracking out is a half-day program for children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) or Autism. This program serves children on the Wake County Track 4 calendar.

Aspire offers week-long sessions where children will be given the opportunity to grow and develop their skills and abilities.
