Summer Day Camp Options for Teens

Rising grades 6 - 8
Alexander Family YMCA
Skyline C.R.E.W. is designed with middle school campers in mind. It offers favorite camp activities like swimming, sports and archery, with field trips and specialized activities. Our counselors provide positive role modeling, while giving campers more responsibility and independence. A weekly cookout and dance make camp even more exciting! No additional registration is required.

Rising grades 6 - 8
Skyline C.R.E.W. is taking the fun overnight! C.R.E.W. campers stay at camp from drop off on Friday morning through Saturday morning. Activities include swimming, silly camper challenges, field trips, movies and more! Food for Friday night and Saturday morning is provided. Campers will sleep inside the building at the Alexander Family YMCA. Campers must be enrolled in theh corresponding week for Skyline C.R.E.W. (see above).

Alexander Family YMCA
The CILT (Campers in Leadership Training) program is a character and leadership development program for teens, led by experienced staff members serving as mentors. Teens will serve as role models for younger campers and participate in teambuilding, group outings, service projects and special events.

Camp Skyline CILT campers
As a fun way to connect and bond, Camp Skyline CILTs can register to be a part of a trip to the National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, N.C. CILTs will spend the night at camp on Friday night and then enjoy a fun-filled day trip to the Whitewater Center on Saturday. CILTs must be registered for at least one session of Camp Skyline to attend.

Volunteers change lives. Summer Day Camp at the Y provides a great opportunity for volunteer teens to work with children and also give back to the community. We're looking for just the right volunteers to work with us during Camp Skyline or Camp Kindercamp.
