Kraft Family YMCA Sports Leagues (Age Divisions, what does U5 to U15 mean?)
|

 |
U5 - U11 (based on birthdate, see age chart at bottom of sports page)
Held at the Kraft Family YMCA and various community sites.
Come play basketball with the people who invented it - the YMCA! Our basketball leagues are instructional programs that focus on the fundamentals of basketball and sportsmanship! League rules are adjusted to encourage kids to learn the proper way to dribble, rebound, do a lay-up, learn offensive and defensive plays, and also have FUN!
Our "holistic" approach to sports combines the fundamentals of the game with those of life - teaching sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork, and friendship. Games begin with "pre-game" talks lead by YMCA staff that focus on values and rules of the game and each ends with the YMCA Athletes' Prayer.
